responsibilities

The Cx team provides solutions and services in the area of Continuous Integration, Continuous Validation and Continuous Deployment to the internal product development streams. To achieve high customer satisfaction and a great internal developer experience, the goal is to provide a software delivery performance, which is recognized as "elite" when compared to the market.
 
As a Tools Developer – Continuous X you support the selection, specification and implementation of tools that help to support and automate processes along the software development life cycle. This covers tools that support the requirement and specification process but also the formal specification of software systems as well as the efficient integration and verification of software.

• Development, extension and maintenance of existing tools implemented in Python that cover and automate processes along the entire software development life cycle
• Goal is to provide an automated development workflow for embedded software and tools developers in an interlinked system
• Continuously work on improvements with the goal to use common off the shelf software
• Specify and coordinate features with tool stakeholders
• Keep the tooling specification and user documentation up to date and provide support and trainings where necessary

Your
profile

• You appreciate IT and automation as key enabler for all efficient business activities
• You appreciate test driven development and proper documentation as enablers for quality and usability
• You have a technical education or multiple years of experience in professional software development
• You have advanced knowledge in Python and a willingness to expand and share your knowledge
• You are a system thinker, able to see the big picture and to understand concepts and identify possible improvements from the operational work
• You are self motivated and willing to actively contribute in process automation and performance improvement
• You have good command over software development tools and processes (e.g. git, trunk-baseddevelopment,...)
• Good command of English
