Major parts of your
responsibilities

• Design, recommendation and implementation of Data Management architecture solutions
• Understand and discuss the limitations of different solutions and working on improvements
• Analyze and review existing solutions and show the pitfalls and opportunities
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
• Locate and define new process improvement opportunities 
• Direct communication with stakeholders and agile teams and take decision in given technical area of project/solution delivery
• Driving plans and connecting relevant people, cooperation with Stakeholders, Product Owners and Agile Teams

Your
Profile

• Long-lasting experience with data management, BI and data warehousing
• Knowledge in OnCloud, OnPrem and Hybrid Data Management solution and  implementation cycle
• Excellent overview about the architectures used in different BI / Data-Management  solutions
• Extensive experience in optimizing BI solutions
• Good know-how of RDBMS and dynamic querying solutions
• Proven advanced SQL knowledge
• Several years of experience with at least one of the following systems: Oracle, Cloudera, MS SQL Server, Teradata
• Experience with Informatica or other Data Integration (ETL) solutions is an advantage
• Deep understanding of data quality principles, practices, data governance and according tools as well as processes
• Experience with big data platforms (Hadoop, Spark) and/or cloud-based platforms (Microsoft Azure, AWS, Snowflake) nice to have
• Experience with different data model paradigms (3NF, Dimensional, Data Vault) and TOGAF knowledge/experience nice to have
• Some experience with BI/reporting tools (Tableau, PowerBI, SAP Business Objects)
• Leadership skills, host and guide technical discussions with individual experts and ability to communicate on (top) management level
• Entrepreneurial, strategic and results-oriented thinking and acting
• Solid skills in English and German in speech and writing

• Salary: starting at € 3.300,- gross / month, over-payment based on qualification and experience, equivalent offered for contractors (declaration according to §9. Abs. 2 Equal Treatment Act)
